We are so excited to host another running event on beautiful Mare Island! All finishers 21yrs and up will receive a FREE BEER thanks to our major sponsor the MARE ISLAND BREWING COMPANY! We will have a Half Marathon, 10K and 5K courses meandering through natural and historic sections of the island. There will also be BBQ available for purchase at our finish line party hosted at the Mare Island Brewing Company Coal Sheds!
Our Half Marathon course will take you along the historic naval yard on the east side of the island, to the highest point of Mare Island for beautiful panoramic views of the Bay, Mt. Diablo, and Mt. Tamalpais. It will then run you down by the old Admiral housing and out to the Mare Island portion of the San Pablo Bay trail on the western side of the island. The 10K will take you by the old Admiral housing and the San Pablo Bay Trail before heading to the finish line. The 5K race will run by the old Admiral housing before heading to the finish line. All courses are still going through the approval process and some tweaks may be made, but the overall feel for the race should not alter too much. Parts of the run through the San Pablo Bay Trail are on unpaved compacted trails.
All participants will receive a tech shirt and finisher's medal. Awards will be available for Male and Female of every category that has a minimum of three entrants. Teams will have awards in one mixed category and will also need 3 team entries for awards.
Pre-registration will close on June 24. Day of registration will be available however discounts will not apply. Shirt sizes will only be guaranteed for registrations prior to June 7th. Any registrations after that will be first come first serve on the sizes that are available.

This is the Mare Island address for the Mare Island Brewing Company at the historic Coal Sheds. Please arrive with plenty of time before your event start time to warm up and get your race bib.
Parking Info:
There are multiple parking locations near the coal sheds and across the street to the west of the coal sheds area. Info will be provided on our website and in the race packet.
What to bring:
With Vallejo being on the waterfront it is subject to a chilly morning marine layer. Temperatures possibly go from the mid 50s in the morning to high 80s by noon, please plan accordingly.
